This atmospheric engraving captures a tranquil scene along the River Darro in Granada, Spain. Flanked by traditional whitewashed buildings with red-tiled roofs and shaded balconies, the narrow waterway winds through the heart of the city. A few figures appear along the banks, adding life to the otherwise serene setting. Drawn by J.F. Lewis and engraved by E. Finden, this print was published in 1835 by J. Murray. It reflects the charm and Moorish-influenced architecture typical of historic Granada.
