In the foreground, figures prepare small sailboats along the shore, while quaint wooden buildings with red roofs line the tranquil water. Drawn by C. Stanfield from a sketch by W. Beattie and engraved by W. Finden, the print was published in 1833 by J. Murray. It captures the serene charm of Interlaken, a picturesque resort town in Switzerland known for its stunning natural beauty.
