This engraving, titled Ruins South Side of Old Delhi, is part of the India China book, providing a striking portrayal of the ruins located to the south of the ancient city of Delhi. The image captures the crumbling structures, with a prominent dome in the foreground, possibly a tomb, and distant remnants of architecture fading into the horizon. A figure, possibly a traveler or laborer, is depicted walking through the desolate landscape, enhancing the sense of abandonment. The artwork was created by T. Boys, with the sketch by Capt. R. Elliot R.N. and engraving by G. Hamilton. It was published by Fisher, Son & Co. in London in 1835.
