This is a 19th-century hand-colored engraving titled “The Hague”, drawn by J.B. Burger and engraved by T. Fisher. The scene captures a pastoral landscape near The Hague, Netherlands, with grazing cattle in the foreground, a sailboat on a calm river, and windmills nestled among trees on the right. In the background, the town’s spires and rooftops rise gently against a cloudy sky, conveying a serene and picturesque Dutch countryside. The print was published in 1843 by J. Murray & Son in London.
